1. Acceptance
By inviting Language Filter to a Discord server, using the dashboard, voting in panel polls, opening support tickets, or using any related feature, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the bot for a server or organisation, you confirm you have permission to manage that server or act on its behalf.
Language Filter is designed to help server staff moderate communities. It does not replace your own server rules, staff judgement, Discord Trust & Safety, or legal obligations.
2. What Language Filter provides
Language Filter provides Discord moderation and dashboard tools, including:
- Custom dictionary filtering and bypass detection.
- Watched channel, thread and category controls.
- Anti-spam, anti-link categories, custom link rules and staff link review.
- Warnings, warning expiry, auto-mute, temporary ban and active punishment tracking.
- Whitelist rules for users and optional AI bypass behaviour.
- Moderation logs, deleted-message logs, AI moderation logs and analytics.
- Optional AI review, safety monitoring, image analysis, notices, appeals and staff alert roles.
- Dashboard changelog posts, replies, customer polls and support tickets.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how the bot is configured and used in your server. You agree to:
- Use Language Filter only for servers where you have permission to manage moderation settings.
- Keep dashboard access restricted to trusted staff.
- Configure watched channels, dictionary words, anti-link settings, AI tools and punishment thresholds appropriately for your community.
- Comply with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and developer rules.
- Not use the bot or dashboard to harass people, collect unnecessary personal data, bypass platform rules, or process content you are not authorised to moderate.
4. AI moderation tools
AI features are optional and can include screening, GPT context review, AI safety monitoring, repeat-violation monitoring, image analysis, allow/block learning rules and appeals. AI output may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Server staff are responsible for reviewing decisions, handling appeals and choosing suitable thresholds.
When enabled, message content, attachment metadata or relevant moderation context may be processed through OpenAI to provide the configured moderation feature. Do not enable AI tools for content you are not authorised to process.
5. Paid features and billing
Some features may require a paid subscription, usage credits or an admin override. Billing data is handled through Stripe where applicable. Subscription status, tier, Stripe customer identifiers, subscription identifiers, checkout session identifiers and related webhook events may be stored so the dashboard can enable the correct features.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions continue until cancelled. Access to paid features may stop if payment fails, a subscription is cancelled, usage credits run out, or abuse is detected.
6. Server content, logs and dashboard data
Language Filter may process and store data needed to provide moderation, such as user IDs, usernames, display names, user tags, avatar references, guild IDs, guild names, channel IDs, thread IDs, role IDs, custom words, settings, warning reasons, original message content for moderation evidence, filtered content, AI labels, AI reasons, confidence values, attachment fingerprints, support ticket details, poll votes and changelog replies.
Data is stored specifically for the guild/server it belongs to. Authorised admins or moderators can only view the dashboard data for guilds they are verified to manage through Discord OAuth. One guild's logs, stats, settings and moderation records are not shared with or displayed to other guilds.
Dane may access stored data when needed for maintenance, issue investigation, bug fixing, security checks or support. Server staff with dashboard access may be able to view moderation evidence and logs. You are responsible for informing your community about your moderation and logging practices where required.
7. Availability, changes and limits
Language Filter is provided as available. Features may be updated, changed, rate limited, suspended or removed to improve reliability, security or compliance. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, missed moderation actions, Discord outages, third-party API issues, AI mistakes, data loss caused by incorrect configuration, or unauthorised dashboard access caused by your staff practices.
We may suspend access to the bot, dashboard or paid features for abuse, security risk, non-payment, platform violations, or behaviour that harms the service or other users.
8. Contact
For support, use the dashboard support/report feature where available, or contact Official GamersHub through the published website or Discord support channels.
